Product Description
The base for a strong adhesive in the formulation of hot melt adhesive formulations is a polymer of the right kind, and waxes are added to extend the adhesive's settling time. The polymer is diluted to alter the glass transition temperature and the viscosity is reduced to allow for optimal hot-melt flow. Hot melt adhesive formulations are both 100% solid formulations made of thermoplastic polymers. At room temperature, our offerings are sold as solids; they become activated when heated above their softening point, often between 50 and 160 degrees.
